The next step

Hi,

I saw the consultant last night and have signed up for another 2 cycles of chemo to see if it will reduce/ halt the tumour and buy me some more time. After 5-6 weeks they will assess if it is working and we will face the next step.

So I have another week’s “hoilday” and I am bloody going for maximum apppreciation and pleasure; seeing the odd person, talking, eating and generally just pottering. Thanks to dear Nikki, I am really pleased to be fussing about fabrics, colour and furniture for the new extension.Major building work at this time is crazy but I want to see it through AND live to enjoy it.

I love my family and friends.

I told some one today I see myself in a little boat and the grace is going to keep me afloat and row me through the storm [ think, that miserable George Clooney film " A Perfect Storm." Waves Like that.]
